HWP, LLC (the provider of HogWildPokerLeagues.com) takes your privacy very seriously.

Policy Coverage
- This policy covers how HWP, LLC treats personal information it collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable (like your email address) and that is not otherwise publicly available.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that HWP, LLC does not own or control, or to people that HWP, LLC does not employ or manage.
Information Collection and Use
- HWP, LLC collects personal information when you register for your free account. When you register we ask you for your email address and a nickname. Your nickname does not have to be your real name, but your email address does have to be a valid email address that we can use to send you your password in case you forget it. We also require you to provide your country/region. We do NOT collect any other personally identifiable information. When you login to your account you are not anonymous to us.
- HWP, LLC collects information about your transactions with us (such as signing up for our service), including information about your use of services we offer.
- HWP, LLC automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you requested.
- HWP, LLC uses information for the following general purposes: fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
- You have the option of supplying additional, identifying information in your user profile that is shared with other members (primarily the League Administrator) of your Leagues. This information includes your First and Last Name, as well as your phone number so the Administrator can contact you in the event of a last minute change to the schedule. Of course, this information is optional.
- Advertisements shown to you may be related to the names of the Leagues you manage or belong, as well as content contained within blog postings.
- Your email address is used to send out password change requests and other system-critical messages. In addition, you are sent notices whenever you are invited to participate in a League event (however, your League Administrator can turn off this functionality). Blog update notices are also automatically sent to your email, however you can un-subscribe and subscribe to the type of blog updates you want to receive at any time.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- HWP, LLC does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of HWP, LLC's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
We transfer information about you if HWP, LLC is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, HWP, LLC will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- HWP, LLC occasionally displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads may meet the targeting criteria - for example, users from a particular geographic area.
HWP, LLC does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
HWP, LLC advertisers include financial service providers and non-financial companies.
Cookies
- HWP, LLC may set and access HWP, LLC cookies on your computer.
- HWP, LLC allows other companies and affiliates to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Besides advertisers, the other companies provide auditing of our web traffic patterns or payment processing services. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to HWP, LLC's cookies.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete your Account Information and Preferences
- You can edit your account profile, including any preferences, at any time.
- We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the HogWildPokerLeagues.com service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and our newsletter, that are considered part of your account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
- You can delete your account at any time using the "Manage Subscription" functionality.
Confidentiality and Security
- We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products and services to you in order to do their jobs.
- We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you.
- We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect and encrypt your login information and any changes to your personal profile. We do not store or collect any financial information, including credit card data, about you at any time. For credit card transactions, we store the expiration date of your card so we can notify you when the card you used is about to expire, but we do not store the type of card or card number. All of the specific credit card details are stored by our payment processor (First Data) for your recurring subscription payments. We only store transaction status information in order to validate you have an active subscription and to resolve any payment disputes or issues that may arise.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
- HWP, LLC may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to your account email address or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
